Lookie what I got today

I'd love to say that I painted these myself, but alas no. I got them from a super place called Allpopart.com. I totally love them and am really pleased with the way they turned out.

Try Something New No2

Another first for on-line classes. This time with Paulette Insall. This was her organic backgrounds class. I do love my backgrounds I have to admit I do them a lot, but I haven't sanded my backgrounds before, so that was new. So the background although it looks textured, it's quite smooth. cool huh!!

So just to clarify this was a backgrounds class, and you could add what ever you wanted over the top of the background, although she does give some ideas as to what you can do. Anyone thinking about doing an on-line class, I highly recommend her and karyn Gartel.... both really cool and informative teachers.

So this canvas is 8" x 10" and is titled "An Awkward Friend". Still trying to get my faces right and my shading/trees right where I'm happy with the way they look.

Ok so this weeks theme over at MMM is try something new.

Here are pictures of 2 canvas's I made doing an online class with Karyn Gartel. Firstly this was my first ever on line class and i loved it. Secondly it was my first time making 2 canvas's at the same time.

WS - Sisters

This weeks theme at WS is Sisters.

This is an 8" x 10" canvas board that I made for my sister's birthday a few weeks back. The stamping is with "bubble wrap" both big and small bubbles. :-) thanks for looking.

Niche Canvas Swap

As my partner Julie H has now received her canvas (see this post for more details on this swap) that I made for her, I can now share it here on my blog.



She is happy with it, so that's always a good feeling.

MMM - Bingo

This weeks theme over at MMM is Bingo.

THis is an 8"x10" canvas that I have done as part of an online class with Karyn Gartel. I have enjoyed doing the class and will try and make more of these funky looking canvas's "one day" when things quieten down a bit.
